Connor high court battle
Ex-Sligo Rovers boss Sean Connor lost his High Court action last week for an injunction to have his salary paid by Bohemians until the trial of an action concerning his dismissal.
The court heard that the Belfast man earned €100,000 a year as manager and he claimed he had a contract until the end of the 2009 season.
Mr Justice said it was not appropriate to grant an injunction saying: “There is little reality in a reinstatement.”
Mr Connor, who was rumoured to be a frontrunner for the Galway United job before Jeff Kenna’s appointment, is challenging the purported termination of his contract.
