Limited number of European tickets on sale

Posted online: Jun 12th, 2009

Tickets for Sligo Rovers’ Europa League fixture will be on sale today (Wednesday, June 10), and can be purchased in The Showgrounds, Jako Sports and Barton Smith’s.
As the ground capacity has been limited by Uefa to 2,700, the club may not be able to meet the expected demand for the club’s biggest game in many years.
Tickets have already been offered for sale to shareholders, season ticket holders, 400 Club members and subscribers to the Johnny Chadda Fund Draw.
There has also been a steady demand for tickets at the ground, so supporters are advised to purchase their tickets early to avoid disappointment.
The Europa League Draw takes place in Geneva on June 22, and the first qualifying round games will be held on Thursday, July 2, and Thursday, July 9.
Adult tickets cost €20. Tickets for students, OAPs and the unwaged are €15 on presentation of the relevant identification at turnstile. Tickets for children U12 cost €5, and the child must be accompanied by an adult.
