A BUSINESS networking event brought together over 120 entrepreneurs, innovators and people with business ideas for a busy day of inspiring and motivational guest talks.
At Northwest Connects in IT Sligo on November 28 last, the broad range of topics throughout the day included elevator pitches, social media, marketing, and getting the best value from your accountant
Speaker Padraig McKeon, MD of Drury Communications, praised the event saying: “The openness and level of engagement at Northwest Connects is brilliant and so different for someone used to more ‘careful’ networking.”
According to Open Coffee member Kevin Peyton: “Events like this these harness the optimism and positive attitude that small business must have in the current economic climate; It was a great, informal location to learn from others in different sectors as well as making contact with potential customers and service partners.”
